What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a complete integrated life science that originated as far back as 2000 B.C. Derived from Sanskrit, “Ayurveda· is a compound word that implies two connected ideas –the science of life and the art of living.

Ayurveda is the ancient Indian health science perfected over centuries of research not only to cure ailments but also as a system of imparting knowledge in leading a way of life that helps attain both physical and mental wellness holistically.

Unlike modern western medicine Ayurveda, as we said before, is Holistic- a complex, spiritual and philosophical system of medication that covers all the principles of Allopathy, Homeopathy and Naturopathy. It approaches the human being as a whole and advices ways and means of achieving physical, mental and spiritual health. Although this is an ancient life science, it can cure or at the very least control every ailment known to man effectively.

Keen observation and meticulous study of nature in all her diversity down the ages has evolved this life science based on the ancient Indian philosophy of live and let live. It has wide reaching applicability in all walks of life and is an ideal means of living in harmony with nature and oneself.

Ayurveda massages?

It is a massage one with oils made from nature with a lot of several herbs and smells. These oils are processed in accordance with the constitution and specific complaint if any, of each individual. Massage with these oils builds stamina, reduces stress, relaxes the muscles, rids and protects the body against various ailments. If administered by a qualified or experienced masseur, these massage exercises the whole body, tones up the skin and muscles, improves blood circulation, repairs worn-out tissues, eliminates toxins and helps reduce unwanted accumulation of fat. In women, these massages go a long way in improving their complexion, body posture and help retain youthful suppleness.
